Blogmas and revamp announcement

So I’ve decided to revamp my blog. As of right now I’m still happy with the design but content-wise there will be a revamp. Basically I’m going back to my blog’s origins. (Edit 15 hours later: Yeah….. I changed the design too…..)

Some of you have been around since the beginning of the blog and know it originally started out as more of a travel and life updates blog. I’ve decided to go back to more of that and add even more topics to it. There’s no way I’m going to stop talking about books though. I’m going to talk books, travel, programming, fitness, life etc. Maybe it’ll be a total flop and no one will read some of the posts but that’s okay because I just like talking about this stuff.

So what better way to begin this new phase of the blog than Blogmas.

So what is Blogmas?

I’ve seen so many people do this in different ways. The basic idea is to blog every day. Some do every day until Christmas, some Christmas Eve and others until the new year.  Another major variation I see is that some people post only Chirstmas content and others post anything.

My plan is to just post something every day until Christmas. Whether it’s reviews, discussion posts, daily routines, yearly wrap-ups etc. you’ll find it here.

Are you doing Blogmas? What would you like to see on my blog?

  1. I probably won’t be doing Blogmas, but I can’t wait to see your content! 🙂 I think its important to do what feels right for you, so kudos on the revamp!

  2. Good luck with your revamp! Honestly, I think there is nothing wrong with having a variety of topics to utilize with a blog. In fact, it makes it more fun sometimes. Oh, and good luck with Blogmas. I’ve heard of it, but haven’t actually thought about participating. December is crazy enough for me.

  3. It’s hard to have a “lifestyle” blog when you’re interested in so many different things! Good luck though. Hopefully you’ll catch even more readers with different types of posts. It helps that your writing is so good and fun to read. 🙂

  4. I can definitely tell which posts don’t get as much traction but I enjoy what I’ve been posting more so I think it’s worth it! I feel like the sporadic posts of time and topics may make a lot of people not want to follow but oh well.
I’m so glad you like my writing!! Hearing that makes me really happy!

Let's talk!
